Ron has over thirty years of experience providing a full range of legal services to both businesses and individuals throughout the New York metropolitan area. He is equally effective in negotiating the details of complex financial transactions, as he is at finding amicable resolutions to interpersonal disputes. He attends to legal matters with personal care, pragmatism and efficiency. As a result, while Ron’s clients may initially come to him for a discrete matter, they subsequently retain him for myriad personal and professional matters for years, and even decades. These long-term client relationships permit Ron to be a true counselor to his clients who entrust him with handling their dreams, their challenges, and their day-to-day lives.

Ron’s background in business administration and finance lends itself well to representing businesses in their myriad legal matters. His clients primarily include banks, public corporations, closely held family businesses, high net individuals, entrepreneurs and other individuals. His work covers a wide range of his clients’ business legal matters, which typically includes banking, real estate, taxation, contracts, estate planning and estate administration.
Ron’s father, Ben Pollio, founded the firm and dedicated over a half a century to its growth and stellar reputation. Ron joined his father’s practice in 1992, and learned from Ben’s extensive legal and finance background, which includes an LLM in tax law and as an accountant. Together they handled a variety of complex tax issues, such as a significant estate tax audit to a sale of an $80 million pharmaceutical-related company.
In his free time, Ron enjoys playing golf, tennis, platform tennis, surfing, boating and relaxing on the beach on the east end of Long Island, and just about anything – including coaching his daughter’s soccer, softball and basketball teams.
Ron is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is an active member of the Nassau County and New York State Bar Associations.
